Front Cross-Member: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
1. Install engine support tool 8534 or equivalent.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
NOTE: Use a grease marker to mark the lower control arm cam bolts with reference points to ease with the wheel alignment.
3. Remove the lower control arms, See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Service and Repair/Front Lower Control Arm - Removal.
4. Remove the stabilizer bar, See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Front Stabilizer Bar - Removal.
