Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Power Steering Pump - Installation

3.7L

1. Install the pump to the vehicle.
2. Install the three bolts (1) securing the pump to the engine. Tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft.lbs.).
3. Install the power steering hoses. Tighten to 27 Nm (20 ft.lbs.).
4. Install the serpentine belt See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.

5. Refill the power steering fluid and check for leaks See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair.
