Remove the bolts holding the oil pump into the transmission case (Figure 6).

Push the transmission input shaft towards the transmission while pulling the transmission oil pump out. Discard the old transmission oil pump.
CAUTION:
Do not let the input shaft move forward (away) from the transmission. Forward movement of the input shaft will dislodge the number 2, 3, or 4
bearing inside the input clutch assembly.

Carefully install the new oil pump and tighten the bolts to 250 in. lbs. (28 N.m) (Figure 6).
