Power Steering Hose - Installation

Pressure Hose

PRESSURE HOSE

1. Install the pressure hose (2) at the gear.
2. Install pressure line (3) into pump. Thread pressure line tube nut into pump and tighten to 31 Nm (275 in. lbs.).

3. Install the pressure hose mounting bolts (2) to the frame. Tighten to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
4. Install power steering belt. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and

5. Install the fan shroud.
6. Install the washer/coolant reservoir assembly.
7. Install air cleaner housing   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Filter

8. Fill and bleed power steering system See: Service and Repair/Steering - Power Steering System Bleeding.
9. Inspect for leaks.
