Water Pump: Removal and Replacement
Water Pump - Removal
GAS ENGINE
1. Remove the accessory drive belt See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal.
2. Raise vehicle See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair.
3. Remove accessory drive belt splash shield.
4. Drain cooling system See: Service and Repair.
5. Remove screws attaching water pump pulley (1). Remove pulley (1).
6. Remove water pump mounting bolts (2).
7. Remove water pump (3).
