Oil Filter: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Clean and check filter mounting surface. The surface must be smooth, flat and free of debris or pieces of gasket.
2. Lubricate new oil filter gasket.
3. Screw oil filter (1) on until the gasket contacts base. Tighten to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
