REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Open the hood.
2.
Perform the underhood inspection to determine the location of the check valve.
A.
If the check valve (A) is in-line as shown in Figure 1, remove the check valve and discard it and install the in-line connector in its
place. Continue to Step 3 to install the new in-line check valve in the liftgate location (Figure 2).
B.
If there is no in-line check valve in the hose near the washer solvent reservoir, proceed to Step 3 to replace the check valve in the
liftgate (Figure 2).
3.
Check the solvent level in the reservoir, add fluid as necessary and close the hood.
4.
Open the liftgate.
5.
Remove the retaining screws from the top corners of the liftgate trim panel.
