Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair
GRAND WAGONEER, J-10 & 20 TRUCK & 1980-83 CHEROKEE & WAGONEER
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Disconnect speedometer cable from cluster.
3.
Remove cluster retaining screws, tilt top of cluster outward, then disconnect electrical connectors from cluster and ammeter. Mark installation
position of ammeter wires, if equipped, to ensure proper assembly.
4.
Disconnect electrical connectors and vacuum hoses from heater assembly.
5.
Disconnect blend air door control cable.
6.
Remove cluster from instrument panel.
7.
Reverse procedure to install.
