Thermal Vacuum Valve: Service and Repair
CTO Switch, Replace
1. Drain coolant from radiator.
2. On V8 engines, remove air cleaner assembly.
NOTE: On V8 engines, it may be necessary to remove the ignition coil bracket attaching screw and tip the coil away from the CTO switch.
3. Disconnect vacuum lines from valve and remove the valve.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
