1. Remove bolts and lock washers securing hub body to axle hub.
2. Remove gasket and hub body. Do not turn hub control dial after removing hub body.
3. Remove retaining ring, hub clutch and bearing assembly.
4. Clean and inspect all components for wear or damage. Replace as necessary. Do not turn hub control dial until after hub control dial is installed.
The hub clutch nut and cup can be damaged if dial is rotated while the hub is off the vehicle.
5. Apply a light coat of suitable lubricant to all hub components.
6. Install bearing assembly and hub clutch with retaining ring on axle shaft.
7. Install hub body and gasket. Install tabbed lockwashers and bolts into hub body and axle. Torque bolts to 30 ft. lbs.
8. Raise and support front of vehicle, with dial in free position, rotate wheels. If wheels drag, check hub for correct installation.
9. Lower vehicle.
