REAR SEAT MODIFICATION
Information
The rear seat back on some 70 series models may chafe the rear seat cushion when the seat back is folded down.
Perform the following modification procedure to eliminate chafing and prevent seat cover damage.
Procedure
1.
Remove the rear seat cushion and seat back as outlined on pages P-62 and P-63 of the M.R. 244.
2.
Remove the seat back cover as outlined on page P-65 in the M.R. 244.

Using a body hammer, tap seat back frame flange A downward all the way across the top of the seat back, until it meets flange B (Fig. 1).
