Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair

1.

Place shop towels or small container under master cylinder reservoir hoses.

2.

Disconnect master cylinder reservoir hoses at HCU.

3.

Disconnect all sensor and harness wires and brake lines at HCU. Mark and tag brake lines for installation reference.

4.

Remove bolt and nuts attaching HCU mounting bracket to fender apron and remove HCU.

5.

Reverse procedure to install. Fill and bleed brake system.
