If equipped, install the rear window defroster relay fastener into the hole drilled in Step f. (Figure 4).

Position the wiring harness in its original location and install the left kick panel.

Connect the door switch wiring.

Continue with Step 17 of this procedure.
16.
Tighten the park brake pedal-to-support bracket bolt to 100 in.lbs. (11 N.m) (Figure 5).
17.
Insert the front park brake cable end into the cable retainer (Figure 1).
18.
If equipped, install the ground wire on the upper end of the pedal-to-support bracket bolt and secure the wire with an attaching nut.
19.
Connect the warning light switch wire to the warning light switch on the park brake pedal assembly.
NOTE:
1990 model year vehicles require a warning light switch adapter harness (P/N CCUZB032) to connect the warning light switch to the vehicle
wiring harness.
20.
Raise the vehicle on the hoist and remove the locking pliers from the park brake cables.
21.
Lower the vehicle from the hoist.
22.
Test the park brake operation If seized park brake cable(s) are found, replace the cable(s) as required.
23.
Close the hood.
