DETAIL

Within the above Vin range a revised directional indicator relay was fitted onto vehicles that the optional factory fitted towing pack, refer to bulletin 166/93/EN.

From LD 951996 heavy duty relay PRC 8876 has been reintroduced across the Defender range, all vehicles will have a directional indicator relay that is compatible with a tow pack.

PROCEDURE

Vehicles in the following VIN range LD 934737 to LD 951996 will require the indicator relay to be changed when a tow pack is fitted.

Vehicles from LD 951996 are now fitted with the heavy duty relay PRC 8876 which does not require replacing when a tow pack is fitted.
