Locking Wheel Nuts All Models

New Range Rover Discovery Discovery Defender

DETAIL

1997 model year Discovery and New Range Rover products will have Locking wheel nuts as standard equipment, on vehicles fitted with alloy wheels manufactured for the UK and European markets. All Defender derivatives that have Alloy wheels for all markets will also benefit as this initiative is also applied.

In addition to recording key numbers, radio and emergency access codes on the customers security documentation and on the relevant ‘Customer Assurance and Vehicle Validation’ or ‘Pre-Delivery Inspection’ forms, it is important that you also record the locking wheel nut key coke.

The code (a single letter) is stamped on the end face of the wheel nut key on the outer face of the wheel nut, as shown in the illustration. Replacement parts can be ordered, contact Unipart Customer Service and quote the code required.

Information only: Locking wheel nuts will fitted onto vehicles from the above Vin numbers, it is important that Locking wheel nut key numbers and Locking wheel nut numbers are recorded on to the CAVV/PDI forms.
