DETAIL

Vehicles within the above VIN range equipped with a 7.5 amp fuse for the fuel pump, may experience fuel pump operation problems as the result of a
blown fuse.

ACTION REQUIRED

Information only:

If during diagnosis the fuel pump is found to be not working, check the fuel pump fuse. If equipped with a 7.5 amp fuse which has blown, replace the
fuse with an uprated 10 amp fuse.

RTC 4501 - 10 amp Fuse 
AMR 5515 - Fuse Label

PROCEDURE

Locate the center console fuse box forward of the gear lever.

Refer to the illustration, and remove the 7.5 amp fuel pump fuse (number 20).

Install a 10 amp fuse.

Clean the fuse box label surface carefully and completely.

Apply the new label (AMR 5515) over the old label and install the fuse box cover.
