RE - ISSUE INFORMATION: Identification of new RH rear spring RKB101101 corrected. Refer to ACTION text and PARTS INFORMATION Please destroy your existing copy and replace with this Issue 2.

PROBLEM:

VEHICLE LEANS TO THE RIGHT - SPRING SPECIFICATION When the stationary vehicle is viewed from the front or rear, an unequal trim height condition can exist displaying a noticeable lean to the right.

CAUSE:

Coil spring specification error.

ACTION:

Checks prior to spring replacement: 1. Confirm tyre pressures are correct. 2. Remove any load from inside vehicle. 3. Place vehicle on a smooth level surface. 4. Measure and record the dimension of each wheel centre to its wheel arch. 5. Compare the recorded dimensions from one side of vehicle to the other, the maximum allowable difference is 12mm. If the recorded difference is greater than 12mm, proceed as check 6 below. If now within 12mm, advise owner that vehicle is within specification and therefore no fault exists. 6. Place vehicle on ramp and inspect each road spring for the following:

• That spring is correctly seated.

• That correct colour coded springs have been fitted (see table below). If any are incorrect proceed to Rectification .

Temporarily disconnect the front and rear anti roll bars at the axle. 9. Lower the vehicle and re-measure the trim height difference as before. If the measured difference is still greater than 12mm (and vehicle leans to right), refit anti roll bars and proceed to Rectification. • Td5 diesel versions only - Replace right hand front spring for part REB101341 colour coded White/Orange.
