AFFECTED RANGE:

PROBLEM:

WATTS LINKAGE TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Amendments are required to the Workshop Manual Rear Suspension section and Torque Wrench Settings chart - Rear Suspension.

CAUSE:

Published information incorrect.

ACTION:

Refer to Workshop Manual repair number 64.35.35 - Bushes - Watts linkage - Refit - Operation 6 and page 06-20 Torque Wrench Settings - Rear Suspension.

The correct torque setting for the 2 transverse link to chassis bolts (arrowed in illustration) is 140 Nm (103 lbf.ft). All other torque settings remain as stated.

Please amend your existing copy and ensure that all Workshop personnel are aware of the change.

The Workshop Manual will be updated at the next opportunity.
