DETAIL

To overcome customer concern of clutch/gearbox rattle when driving in either first, second or reverse gears, a new clutch plate has been introduced which eliminates rattle.

This new part is applicable to 2.0 Mpi only.

Thorough diagnosis must be carried out to establish the exact nature of the rattle prior to changing a clutch plate.

The new part is directly interchangeable with the previous part.

ACTION REQUIRED

On customer complaint of excessive transmission rattle change clutch plate.

PARTS INFORMATION

FTC 4034 Clutch drive plate replaces FTC 3317.

PROCEDURE

Refer to section 33 and 37 of the workshop manual for clutch and gearbox removal instructions.
