6. Drill a small pilot hole at each mark, then using the stepped drill (STC 3370), very carefully drill each hole to the correct size (7mm). It is important the holes are not drilled oversize as the new clips (AFU 3711L) will not fit correctly, the drill has a stop on it to prevent the drill from going in too deep as this would damage the external bonnet surface, GREAT CARE IS REQUIRED AT THIS STAGE TO PREVENT DAMAGE. 7. Clean away any swarf from the bonnet panel. Offer up the new bonnet liner to the bonnet and secure using the new fixing clips (AFU3711L), again ensure that the liner is fitted fully into clips at the rear of the bonnet and that the new fixing clips are pushed fully home. 8. Remove the cover from the engine bay and close the bonnet.
