DETAIL

A small number of vehicles within the above Vin range may have been despatched from Land Rover, with one of the foot pedal closure panel fixing studs omitted.

Note: As from June 1995 Discovery is produced on two production lines, therefore you will find VIN numbers that commence with both ‘5’ and ‘1’.

ACTION REQUIRED

A visual inspection will be required on vehicles within the above VIN range for the absence of any of the three closure panel fixing studs.

PROCEDURE

Check the foot pedal closure panel (as shown in the illustration opposite) for the fixing studs, if any have been omitted, fit new studs.
