Rear Bumper Fixing Bolts Loose

It as been noted that a small number of vehicles within the above Vin range, may have had the rear bumper fixing bolts incorrectly torqued. In some instances the rear fixing bolts may have a torque setting of 27 Nm, the correct setting for these fixing bolts is 40-50 Nm.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon pre-delivery inspection or at the earliest opportunity check the rear bumper fixing bolts, and retorque where necessary.

Any vehicles within the above Vin range will require the rear bumper fixing bolts to be checked, and retorqued were necessary.

Rear fixing bolt torque setting 40-50Nm.
