MODEL

Discovery V8i Manual Gearbox (NAS) Discovery V8i Manual Gearbox (NAS)

DETAIL

A new set of exhaust downpipes has been introduced with revised catalyst end cones on vehicles within the above Vin range. Investigations have shown that the position of the catalyst cones may cause two potential concerns.

1. Close proximity of the clutch slave cylinder heat shield to the left hand catalyst. 2. Close proximity of the front left hand lambda sensor to the oil cooler pipes.

This bulletin supersedes 30/01/96 the information in the parts section has been amended

ACTION REQUIRED

Check the clearance of items 1 and 2 above and adjust were necessary, on vehices within the above Vin range, if the customer identifies a rattle from this area.
