Rear Bumper Filler Strip. New Part Introduction
DETAIL
A number of Product Reports have been received concerning cracking of the rear bumper filler strip.
From VIN LJ 118553 a new filler strip has been introduced to eliminate these concerns. The strip is manufactured from a soft P.V.C material with a
metal insert. and is fully interchangeable on all vehicles prior to the introduction VIN.
ACTION REQUIRED
Upon customer complaint, fit new filler strip.
PARTS INFORMATION
Filler strip AWR 2710 PMD replaces BTR 8054 PMD
PROCEDURE
The 4 edge strips part number JRC 7549 fitted to the rear bumper must be removed when fitting the new type filler strip.
