9.

Immediately tighten the filler neck into the valve cover until the O-ring is sufficiently compressed 15-18 Nm. (11-13 lbf.ft.).

10.

Install filler cap and tighten.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Do not remove or install oil cap or otherwise disturb the joint until the Loctite(R) has cured fully. This may take up to 24 hours.

Tighten oil filler baffle plate if previously loosened.

12.

If valve cover has been removed to repair oil filler neck, install the cover and replace the valve cover gasket using the procedure in TIB
12/04/96/US.
