1.

Using a (7 mm.) 9/32 in. drill bit, enlarge the mounting holes as shown in illustration.

2.

Using a hack saw or other suitable tool remove material on the upper outside corners of the housing and gasket as shown in illustration.

Check Glass Mounting Flange

1.

Examine glass mounting flange on all rear doors regardless of VIN.

2.

The glass mounting flange should be straight. Reform any portions that are not straight. The irregularities that have been found have been minor
and confined to the upper portion of the opening but they must be dealt with in order to ensure proper installation of the rear door glass.
