PROCEDURE

Snap-on PAC Ground Check Instructions

CAUTION:

Make sure that the key is in the "OFF" position and the vehicle is not running-before making these checks.

1.

Prepare the PAC for operation as follows:

Connect green terminal "Grnd Chk" lead to green receptacle on PAC.

Connect yellow terminal "Grnd Chk" lead to yellow receptacle on PAC.

^

Connect black clip on yellow "Grnd Chk" lead to battery negative terminal.

Connect red clip of yellow "Grnd Chk" lead to battery positive terminal.

2.

Turn PAC unit ON

NOTE:

There will be two icons which appear in the upper left corner of the screen.

Touch "GND CHK" screen icon.

Touch the "CAL" icon.

5.

When prompted by the PAC, touch the green lead to the negative battery terminal to calibrate the unit.

NOTE:

A click will be heard and the screen will flicker to indicate the calibration has-taken place. It is important to calibrate the unit before any
ground checks are performed. Always calibrate the PAC unit each time it is turned on.

6.

Remove the green lead from the negative battery terminal.

7.

Attach green lead to the ground circuit to be tested and touch the "RUN" icon on the PAC screen.
