Note:  Any small raised areas on the joint face can be carefully removed using a fine file.

3) Apply sealant to the joint face of the transfer gearbox casing and refit the cover plate.

4) Refit the bolts and tighten to 29 to 37 lbf ft,. 39 to 50 Nm 4 to 5 Kgf/m
