16. Install extension shaft and retaining bolt with new O-ring.
17. Install extension housing, tighten nine bolts to 23 Nm.
18. Install transfer gear selector housing, tighten three bolts to 25 Nm.
19. Install transfer box.
20. Refill gearbox using Dexron IID ATF.

Use dipstick to check level after transmission oil is at normal operating temperature.
