When a Discovery is put through an automatic car wash, the rear washer jet can sometimes be damaged. A new shorter washer jet has been introduced to
overcome this problem and is now available.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of a broken washer replace with new part as detailed below.

PARTS INFORMATION

PRC6496 - New rear washer (supersedes PRC9008).

PROCEDURE

Refer to the workshop manual section 84 Rear Window Washer Jet.

Replace old type washer jet with new, shorter design.

Re-set both jets.
