Front Wiper Performance

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

SITUATION:

POOR WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE PERFORMANCE

Reports have identified poor windshield wiper performance causing streaking, chattering, or blade lift at highway speeds.

RESOLUTION:

REPLACE WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADES.

To remedy these problems, Land Rover is introducing a new windshield wiper blade. The revised design has an airfoil on the driver's side wiper blade
that eliminates blade lift at highway speeds. In addition, the blade profile and compound has been changed to improve performance and durability.

NOTE:

The repairs outlined in this TIB are to be performed to resolve customer complaint of the symptoms described.
