Install a new heat shrink sleeve onto the alternator cable. (Figure 1)
5.
Shrink the sleeve to the cable using a hot air gun.
6.
Connect the alternator cable to the alternator.
7.
Install the nut and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lbf.ft).
8.
Connect the battery ground lead.
