CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation: 

Vehicles fitted with Automatic Air Recirculation may exhibit a condition where an odor enters the interior of the vehicle. Diagnostic Trouble Code
(DTC) B102E-11 may also be stored. This could be caused by the Air Recirculation Door working improperly due to a software calibration issue.

Action: 

In the event of a customer concern of the above, follow the Repair Procedure outlined below to reconfigure the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning
Control Module.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

RECONFIGURING THE HEATING VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL MODULE

CAUTION:

A Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during diagnosis.

1.

Connect the Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply to the vehicle battery.

NOTE:

IDS must be loaded with software release DVD 111 Patch File 9 or later.
