Adaptive Front Lighting System Warning Indicator Flashing / DTC B1D64-01 or B1D65-01 Stored - Repair Procedure
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
The Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) warning indicator may flash and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1D64-01 or B1D65-01 may be stored.
This may be caused by a position loss within the AFS stepper motor.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to reconfigure the front lighting control module.

RECONFIGURE THE FRONT LIGHTING CONTROL MODULE PROCEDURE
CAUTION:
A Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during IDS diagnosis / module programming.
