Selector Shaft Seal

Selector Shaft Seal - 3.2L 

Removal 

NOTE:  Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

WARNING:  Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands. 

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.

3. Remove the transmission control module (TCM).

4. CAUTION:  Take extra care not to damage the mating faces. 

CAUTION:  "Make sure that a new component is installed." 

Installation 

1. CAUTION:  Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material. 

CAUTION:  Install the seal, flush with the transmission case. 

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
