The knock sensors are installed in the cylinder block in two different locations. One is located on the inboard of the RH
cylinder bank and one is located at the front of the LH side of the cylinder block, next to the oil pressure switch. They are
piezo-electric sensors that provide inputs to detect and locate detonation during combustion. For additional information,
