Removal

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the
vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2 .
Remove the pressure plate and clutch disc. For additional information, refer to
Clutch Disc and
Pressure Plate (33.10.01)
(Section 308-01)
3 .
NOTE :
Prevent the flywheel from rotating.
Remove the flywheel.
Remove the 8 Torx bolts.

CAUTION: Tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence.
NOTE :
Prevent the flywheel from rotating.
Install the flywheel.
Clean the component mating faces.
Tighten the retaining bolts in three stages.
Tighten the Torx bolts to 45 Nm (33 lb.ft).
Tighten the Torx bolts by 45 degrees.
Tighten the Torx bolts by a further 45 degrees.
2 .
Install the clutch disc and pressure plate. For additional information, refer to
