WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the
vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2 .
Remove the gearshift lever. For additional information, refer to
Gearshift Lever (37.16.04)

3 .
Secure the vacuum hose to the forward edge of the chassis cross member.
Release from the 6 clips.
Secure with adhesive tape.
4 .
Secure the fuel line to the forward edge of the chassis cross member.
Release from the 6 clips.
Secure with adhesive tape.
5 .
Remove the 2 clips.
6 .
CAUTION: An approved hose clamp must be used.
