Fuel Tank Filler Pipe (19.55.07)
Removal

WARNING: The spilling of fuel is unavoidable during this operation. Ensure that all necessary
precautions are taken to prevent fire and explosion.

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the
vehicle on safety stands.
Position the vehicle on a lift.

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to
Specifications

3 .
Drain the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to
Fuel Tank Draining (19.55.02)

4 .
Remove the RH rear wheel and tire.
5 .
Remove the fender moulding. For additional information, refer to
Rear Quarter Panel Moulding
(76.43.55)
(Section 501-08)
6 .
Remove the fender splash shield.
Remove the 2 screws.
Remove the 6 retainers.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
