DETAIL

From the above vehicle vin numbers gold plated terminals were introduced on the Air Flow Meter and its mating harness connection to improve the electrical integrity of the joint.

NOTE:

A) Do not use any form of terminal lubricant/protection on gold plated terminals. B) Do not fit an Air Flow Meter with gold plated terminals to any vehicle prior to the above vin numbers the terminals on the harness are not compatible.

PARTS INFORMATION

Gold plated terminals can be easily identified. Inspection of the male and female terminal contact faces will identify the gold terminals.

Do not use terminal lubricant/grease protection on gold terminals.
