Tyre Pressures - New Vehicles

MODEL AFFECTED VEHICLES

Range Rover All Range Rover derivatives

DETAIL

A number of Product Reports have been received which detail over inflated tyres when new vehicles are delivered to the dealer. This bulletin is raised to remind the dealer network that it is Land Rover policy to increase tyre pressures above the normal level, from recommended pressures to approximately 50 lbf/in²3.45 bar-3.5 Kgf/cm² during transit between factory and Dealer to prevent flat spotting of the tyres resulting from possible extended periods without movement. During Pre-delivery inspection all tyre pressures inclusive of the spare wheel must be checked and adjusted to the correct pressures. Reference should be made to the vehicle Handbook to determine correct pressures for the size and make of tyre.

ACTION REQUIRED

For information only. Check tyre pressures during Pre-delivery inspection and adjust as necessary
