Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner
Service Repair No - 86.10-06
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
3. Remove the radiator splash shield.
4. Release the accessory drive belt.

Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counter-clockwise.
5. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.

Remove the bolt.
6. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner pulley.

Remove the bolt.
Installation
1. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner pulley.

Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
2. NOTE: Make sure the accessory drive belt is routed correctly.
Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
^
Tighten the bolt to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
