WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the radiator splash shield.
4. Remove the exhaust system.
5. Drain the differential fluid.
6. Remove the front wheels and tires.
Left-hand drive vehicles
CAUTION: Do not turn the steering wheel with the lower steering column disconnected as damage to the clock spring and steering wheel
switches may occur.
7. Disconnect the lower steering column from the steering gear.

Note the fitted position.

Align the steering wheel to straight ahead.

Remove and discard the Torx bolt.
All vehicles
NOTE: Use an additional wrench to prevent the ball joint rotating.
NOTE: Note the fitted position of the washers.
8. LH side: Disconnect the stabilizer bar link.

Remove the nut.
^
Remove the flat washer.
NOTE: Use an additional wrench to prevent the ball joint rotating.
9. LH side: Disconnect the suspension height sensor link arm.

Remove the nut.
