Trunk / Liftgate Relay: Description and Operation
LOWER TAILGATE RELEASE RELAY
The lower tailgate release relay is installed on the AJB. When the GEM (generic electronic module) receives a valid input from the lower tailgate release
switch, it momentarily energizes the relay to simultaneously activate the two lower tailgate release actuators.
