2. Remove the rear wheels and tires
3. With assistance, remove and discard the halfshaft retaining nut.

Release the nut stake.

4. Remove the rear brake disc.

NOTE:

Rotate the parking brake shoe retainers through 90 degrees to release them from the back plate.

5. Remove the parking brake shoes as an assembly with the lower spring and the adjuster.

Remove the brake shoe upper return spring.

^

Remove both shoe retainers.

6. Remove the parking brake shoe expander.

7. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor.

Release the clip.

^

Remove the Allen screw.
