5. Remove LH B-pillar trim. (Figure 3)

6. Move carpet aside to access ground block.

7. Verify ground block nut torque (9 Nm [6.6 lbf ft]). (Figure 4)

8. Install carpet.

9. Install LH B-pillar trim.

10. Install LH rear kick trim panel.

11. Install LH front kick trim panel.

12. Repeat steps 2 - 11 on right-hand (RH) side of vehicle.

REPLACE DRIVER'S SEAT MEMORY SWITCH PACK

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) Section 501-10: Seating and replace the driver's seat memory switch pack.

INSPECT STEERING COLUMN TILT MOTOR

NOTE:

If at any time while performing steps 1-3 the tilt motor can be heard turning but the steering column is not moving, the tilt motor will need to be replaced.
If the tilt motor needs to be replaced, continue to REPLACE STEERING COLUMN TILT MOTOR.

1. Using the Manual Steering Column Control Switch, adjust the steering column tilt towards its 'fully up' position until the column stops moving.

2. Apply the Control Switch again in an upwards direction. If the column has not reached it's 'fully up' mechanical hard stop position, it will move
upwards a small increment on each subsequent application of the Control Switch.
