Mounting Tires
Mounting Tires
NOTE:

Use only tire changing equipment to mount or demount tires, following the equipment manufacturer's instructions.

DO NOT use hand tools or tire levers, as they may damage tire beads or the wheel rim.
1. Install a new valve assembly.
2. Ensure wheel and tire is adequately lubricated.
3. Mount tire in normal manner.

Inflate tire and at same time apply hand pressure to area around valve to aid seating over valve first.
NOTE: Stop inflation immediately if tire seats opposite valve, as this will result in valve being blocked by tire beading, making further inflation
impossible, and carry out following procedure.
4. Deflate tire, unseat and rotate it around the rim until valve is in line with that part of tire which seated initially.

This part of beading having seated over hump previously will automatically seat first when tire is re-inflated.
5. Inflate tire to seat beads correctly, finally inflate to correct pressure.
