Front Differential Breather Pipe Service Part Availability

Model Year: 2003 - Onwards

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation: 

A front differential breather pipe is now available as a serviceable part. It is no longer necessary to replace the complete front differential for issues
related to the breather pipe.

Action: 

In the event it becomes necessary to replace the front differential breather pipe, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

REPLACE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL BREATHER PIPE

WARNING:

Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove left-front wheel / tire assembly.

3. Clean the area surrounding the front differential case breather tube.
