Air Suspension Pressure Sensor Replacement

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

SITUATION:
ILLUMINATED EAS WARNING LAMP

A customer may report a concern that the electronic air suspension (EAS) warning lamp is illuminated.

Diagnosis may determine that there is a fault with the EAS pressure sensor.

RESOLUTION:

DIAGNOSE PROBLEM AND IF INDICATED REPLACE PRESSURE SENSOR

The pressure sensor is now available as a service part. Should a customer express concern regarding the above and diagnosis has determined that the
EAS pressure sensor should be replaced, refer to the Service Procedure detailed in this bulletin.

Previously for 2003-2005 vehicles only the EAS reservoir, valve block and sensor assembly has been available to address pressure sensor issues.
Now the sensor is available separately. This sensor is also used on 2006- vehicles but is located in the vehicle load space inside the EAS compressor
cover.*
