1993 AUDIO SYSTEM - TELEPHONE MUTE
The 1993 audio system includes an optional telephone mute function. It is activated by grounding a terminal at the rear of the head unit. While this
terminal is grounded, the radio displays TEL and the volume is reduced. If the cassette or CD are in use, they will automatically pause. When the ground
is removed, the radio resumes normal operation.
WORK PROCEDURE
1.
Disconnect battery.
2.
Remove head unit.
3.
Solder appropriate cellular phone wire to LRNA supplied terminal (see parts information).
4.
Insert terminal into the back of connector C1, position 1. (See diagram above).
5.
Replace radio, enter security code and test.
